Before extensive treatment is started, our financial coordinator will provide you with a clear estimate of the fees for your dental treatment. Should you have dental insurance, we will assist you in completing and submitting the necessary forms. Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Calculated charges not covered by your insurance should be made at the time of your appointment unless prior arrangements have been made. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care. Payment for initial examination and maintenance appointments is due at the time of service.
It is our goal to prevent any misunderstandings, as well as reduce the " financial anxiety " which frequently accompanies any type of health care. At all times, you can be confident that we will always provide you with our best services without regard to the limitations imposed by your insurance coverage. To do otherwise would violate our contract with you - - - a contract we feel morally obliged to honor.
